Description
This coco coir brick is a dehydrated coconut coir. Once water is added, the coir will hydrate and grow to create the optimum soil structure for your plants. This growing medium is 100% peat free and is ideal for repotting houseplants in a more environmentally friendly way. Due to its nature a wide variety of plant species will take well to growing its roots in it. It will allow air to circulate around the roots enabling you to avoid root rot.
The blocks are made from 100% coconut husk and offer the optimum air to water ratio, encouraging healthy root growth.
This coir includes no artificial fertiliser so when planting up do make sure you add suitable organic plant feed in yourself. Read our latest blog post for our advise on why and how to do this.
